Excitement is growing at West Virginia Academy with more than 400 students enrolled, our facility taking shape, and our faculty and staff preparing for a great first year. So many people have asked how they can help and we are excited to announce several opportunities where families can get involved in building something truly special.
First Annual Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction (May 5th)
Come and meet our executive director, enjoy a light dinner by Tropics Restaurant, win something in the raffle, and bid on something in our silent auction. Dinner tickets are $35 per person (plus a service fee) and each ticket includes a light dinner, dessert bar, and one raffle ticket.

Special Projects at the School
We are completing several modifications to our facility ahead of this fall. While the significant majority of these improvements will be completed by professionals, we have a few special projects for non-essential enhancements that we are seeking volunteers to help with and we invite you to get involved. Anyone with experience in contracting or that is simply handy around the house is welcome to contact us to get involved. Join the Advisory Committee of Families
We are officially organizing our parent association, which is called the Advisory Committee of Families (ACF). The president of the ACF will occupy a seat on our Governing Board. We need to establish the ACF membership by the end of June, so any parents of admitted students that would like to join can do so by emailing us at info@westvirginiaacademy.org. and include "ACF Volunteer" in the subject line. Also, please let us know whether you would be willing and interested in serving in a leadership role.
