Athletics and Competitive Sports
West Virginia Academy has a robust and growing athletics program with a focus on building competencies in lifetime activities through physical education classes, intra-mural competition each experience day, and, for secondary grade levels, competitive sports through WVSSAC.
It is anticipated that secondary competitive sports through WVSSAC will include boys' and girls' cross country, basketball, and track. Additional sports, including club teams, may be added based on interest level.
Middle school and high school students interested in participating in any competitive sport should review our competition policy and complete the consent and physical examination forms below each summer prior to summer workouts and submit them to our office.
