How is West Virginia Academy Different?

At West Virginia Academy we refer to our students as scholars. A student is any person who attends school, but we expect much more than mere attendance. A scholar is a learned person that exhibits a love of learning and inquiry. Scholars also possess an ability to achieve accelerated learning and hold core knowledge competencies. Our goal at West Virginia Academy is for every student to become a Scholar.
