Our Campuses
West Virginia Academy is currently located at 763 Chestnut Ridge Road (the "Suncrest Campus"), which opened for the 2022-23 school year and currently serves all grades. Two other campuses are potentially in the works for future years including a campus in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown that will initially primarily serve secondary students (the "Falling Water Campus") and a potential campus in Masontown at the current site of the Preston County Youth Center (the "Preston Campus") where WVA currently conducts its indoor sports.

Suncrest Campus
West Virginia Academy will operate for the 2023-24 school year primarily out of its Suncrest Campus, located at 763 Chestnut Ridge Road, Morgantown, WV 26505. This main facility is near North Elementary and is convenient to the Evansdale and Health Sciences Campuses of WVU as well as both major area hospitals. The campus serves all ages at this campus including grade levels PreK to 10 for full-time scholars as part of the charter school as well as Hope Scholarship funded students in 11th and 12th grade attending less than full-time. The academy plans to continue in this facility for
many years to come, although middle school and high school
grade levels will move to the Falling Water Campus once the first
phase of the construction for that campus is completed. We plan
for the Suncrest Campus to continue to serve our youngest
scholars up through all elementary grades on a permanent basis.

Falling Water Campus
West Virginia Academy is developing a second campus in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown immediately adjacent to the Falling Water Neighborhoods that will be the primary site for its middle school and high school, although scholars of all grade levels will eventually be able to attend this campus. The multi-building Falling Water Campus will be built out in phases on a 19.2 acre property in a beautiful setting surrounded by forest and in plain view of Cheat Lake. The location is optimal for deploying the academy's academic, extra-curricular, and wraparound programs for its nursery, primary, and secondary schools.

The Falling Water Campus will be conducive to the achievement of sports programming
and extra-curricular activities that promote a lifetime of development and physical
fitness. Combined with nearby Cheat Lake Park and Coopers Rock State Forest, the site
provides ready access to the very activities that make West Virginia a world famous
destination for outdoor adventure. The buildings are being designed with West Virginia
Academy's academic mission in mind so the academy can provide an elite IB World
School education and the facilities will meet all of the building standards and regulations
required for West Virginia public schools.

We anticipate opening at this site at some point during either the 2024-25 or 2025-26 academic years. The launch of the Falling Water Campus depends on a combination the timing of expected grant funding disbursements, utility provider approvals, permitting, and construction timelines.

In coordination with the Preston County Youth Center, West Virginia Academy conducts its sports programs at a facility in Masontown located at at 87 VIP Dr. While a pilot program was previously announced, a combination of factors including insufficient initial demand caused the academy to delay its plans to proceed with offering classes at this location. For the time being, all plans for offering classes at this campus are on hold, but WVA's sports programs are continuing to be conducted at the facility.
