April 8th - Mark your calendar for all THREE events!
Solar Eclipse Event (2:50pm - 3:20pm) - Scholars will be donning their solar glasses to see the historic Solar eclipse. The peak for our area is on APRIL 8th around 3:12. We plan on sending our scholars outside to the playground around 2:50. There will be NO aftercare provided on April 8th. Buses and Carpool will START just after 3:15PM. Feel free to park and join us in seeing this amazing event. If you need your child earlier, please come into the school to sign them out. Parents joining us will need to check their child out with their homeroom teacher.
Shootout Mystery Dinner (4:00pm - 5:00pm) - A true Texas BBQ will be served from 4:00 - 5:00pm that same night! Scholars have been brushing up on their Southern drawls and lassoing techniques in theater camp during break programming. Dinner will consist of three courses, including dessert. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased HERE.
WVA Open House (5:30pm - 7:00pm) - New student enrollment starts April 1st, and we want you to let all your friends know. This is a great opportunity for all neighbors and friends to meet our teachers, tour the school, and see just how amazing West Virginia Academy truly is. This Open House is open to students and non-students alike. We will be giving away WVA Swag and clothing!
